Therefore, preventing and avoiding power metering failures and errors is an important part of power metering. The author believes that the following measures should be taken to reduce metering errors: 1. Prevent mechanical failures of electric energy meters (1) gradually eliminate old models of electric energy meters, eliminate hidden dangers, and adopt new types of electric energy meters to improve the reliability of electric energy meters. (2) The selection of electric energy meters shall be finalized and factory determined as far as possible to reduce varieties, which is conducive to maintenance and calibration. (3) Pay attention to the maintenance quality of the electric energy meter. During the maintenance, use special tools to avoid damaging important parts such as bearings. (4) Strict word walking test shall be carried out to ensure that the electric energy meter has no faults such as word jamming, disk erasing, word skipping, wrong counter installation, etc. before installation, so that the unqualified word walking cannot be delivered from the warehouse. 2. Prevent overload from burning the metering device (1) use the standard force measuring ring to test the load accuracy of the four ball machine, select the corresponding capacity meter, and promote the application of wide load watt hour meters. It shall be compared with the standard table once a month. If any abnormality is found, it shall be handled in time. (2) The verification (calibration) device shall be verified as required. (3) Conduct on-site verification (calibration) on the operating electric energy metering device according to the specified cycle. 9. Prevent transformer failure (1) the transformer shall be the product with stable error and reliable quality. (2) Establish and improve the transformer account, and the transformer shall be rotated according to the specified cycle. (3) Conduct comprehensive error test for large users, and conduct TV secondary voltage drop test according to the specified period. 10. Improve the transportation conditions of the electric energy meter (1) provide a special metering vehicle and do not use it for other purposes. (2) Equipped with shockproof box to ensure that the electric energy meter will not be damaged during transportation.
